After a serendipitous Coffee shop visit with Dave Lee from Signal Snowboards, I had the incredible opportunity to document the process of the world's first corrugated cardboard acoustic guitar, built by none other than the legendary Gabriel Currie of Echopark Guitars.
Signal's YouTube series "Cardboard Sessions" truly pushes the boundaries of innovation by creating a full set of instruments made from cardboard and inviting top-tier musicians by the likes of Keanu Reeves, Marcus King, Daru Jones and Billy F Gibbons to put them to the test.
Since I was trusted with full creative control, I wanted to create a story that encapsulated different elements of the 4 day shoot while highlighting the beauty of it all; behind the scenes, in the making and honest moments of the in-between.
