After being woken up by the screaming V12 motor of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, I rushed to grab my camera and capture the action of the race weekend in the city streets. The Detroit Grand Prix returned to the downtown circuit since leaving for Belle Isle in 2007- the bumpy roads, slick pavement and tight corners make it a challenge only the best drivers can navigate successfully.
