My documentation of capturing the essence of Paris. I was extremely fortunate to experience life within the Parisian streets for approximately a week and a half. I took the train from London in the springtime when the people were coming back outside to engage with society. The shift of personalities between the two cities was exciting to experience and met some truly incredible souls that I will remember for a lifetime. It was my first time navigating with a massive language barrier- through my attempts of speaking French, many Parisians acknowledged my efforts and were extremely helpful in assisting me. Being in a place that truly celebrates art has forever shifted my perspective on food, fashion and how to see the beauty within the everyday.
Majority of the shots were taken on a 1975 Nikkormat FT2 with a 50mm 1.4 Lens, utilizing the following 35mm film: Portra 400, Fujifilm Superia 400, Cinestill 400D and Kodak Tri-X. Other shots were taken on iPhone.
